FULL BLOWN CHAOS: Singer's Illness Forces Show Cancellations
May 27, 2006New York-based hardcore/metal band FULL BLOWN CHAOS were forced to cancel their appearances in Bakersfield, Reno, Boise and Cleveland after the group's vocalist, Ray Mazzola, was taken ill. "Ray woke up with the same pain as he did when he first got bit by the black widow spider," the band write on their web site. "Just when he was getting better. This dude looked like death sitting in the back our van. He was definitely in no shape to play shows or be stuck in a van. So for Ray's heatlh we decided to just head home. 52 hours and about 3,000 miles later we finally got home. So Ray can rest up for our shows in June and Ozzfest."
FULL BLOWN CHAOS' new album, "Within the Grasp of Titans", is scheduled for release on July 25 via Stillborn. The band have also lined up some Ozzfest "off" dates with UNEARTH, THE RED CHORD, A LIFE ONCE LOST, WALLS OF JERICHO and ALL THAT REMAINS.
